St. Matthew's Parish – Our Chartering Organization

All Cub Scout Packs are chartered by a partner organization that sponsors us and extends their mission of serving the community. They provide essential support. Pack 223 is honored to be chartered by St. Matthew's Parish in Pacific Palisades. Their commitment to youth and family strengthens everything we do.

Brentwood Presbyterian Church – Our Current Host

For the past year, we've been warmly welcomed and hosted by Brentwood Presbyterian Church while we've been displaced by the Palisades Fire. Their generosity has allowed us to continue our meetings and pack activities without interruption. We're incredibly thankful for their support and hospitality during this challenging time.

Troop 223 – Our Linked Scouting America Troop

Pack 223 shares a strong connection with Troop 223 (boys and girls troops). Many of our Webelos scouts transition directly into Troop 223, continuing their Scouting journey with familiar friends and leaders. This close partnership helps make the bridge from Cub Scouts to Scouting America smooth and exciting.

Western Los Angeles County Council & Crescent Bay District

Pack 223 is part of the Western Los Angeles County Council (WLACC), the administrative body for Scouting in our region. WLACC provides training, camps (including our favorite Camp Emerald Bay), events, and support across Greater LA. 

We are also proud to be in WLACC's Crescent Bay District — serving Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, Malibu, and nearby communities with additional local activities, training, and support.

Local Public & Private Schools

Pack 223 proudly draws scouts from a diverse mix of local public and private elementary schools in Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, Santa Monica, and surrounding neighborhoods — making our pack a true neighborhood family. Whether your child attends Marquez Charter Elementary, Palisades Charter Elementary, Canyon Charter, St. Matthew's Parish School, Calvary Christian School, Village School, Curtis School, or any of the other great schools in our area, you're joining a pack where friends from class, sports teams, and the playground come together to share Scouting adventures. It's one more way we build strong community ties and lifelong friendships right here at home!
