At each level of Cub Scouts, your scout will be challenged in just the right way for their age and grade — building skills, confidence, and fun step by step. Here are the programs and adventures your scout will experience as they rise through the ranks in Pack 223:
First steps into Scouting — short, fun den meetings with parents, simple games, crafts, and family outings to get everyone excited and comfortable.
Adventure begins! Monthly meetings, earning the Tiger badge through family activities, outdoor play, and learning to be kind and helpful — with lots of parent involvement.
Scouts take on more responsibility — earning the Wolf badge with teamwork challenges, nature exploration, service projects, and even more involved adventures.
Deeper adventures — the Bear badge includes outdoor skills, science experiments, community service, and more independence while still keeping it fun and family-focused.
The bridge to Scouting America — with more camping trips, leadership opportunities, outdoor challenges, weekly patrol-style activities, and optional Arrow of Light program, to build readiness for the next level.
Once a Webelos scout has completed the main requirements for the Webelos rank, they can begin working on the Arrow of Light — the highest rank in Cub Scouting and the only Cub Scout badge that can be worn proudly on the Scouts BSA uniform.
